I am that person, no matter the subject, who becomes giddy when thinking, designing, and trying out new ways to improve and change. I thrive when I am working with others - pushing against boundaries in our organisations and within ourselves. I want my work to help encourage change, evolve how people work together, and expand product/service offerings that will be helpful to people and the planet.
Since launching into the workforce, I have found energy and purpose working in the non-profit sector for environmental and social groups. My work provided me with hands-on project management experiences, professional wisdom and growth through classic trial and error. From a young age, I have had an inquisitive personality, which pushed me to explore concepts and question the why behind actions. This led me early in my career to realise that I enjoyed working with complexity and contradiction. Working with complexity, though it can be frustrating and overwhelming, makes sense to me as it is a reflection of our ever evolving world.
My life is grounded by spending time digging in the earth and growing a boutique fruit orchard and gardens with my husband and young son in Memramcook, NB.
